Dairy Initiatives At Uttar Pradesh, Bulandshahr 

In order to streamline milk procurement and sales process we have been working on establishing a Farmer Producer Organization named ‘Sahal Bulandshahr Farmer Producer Company Limited’. The FPO aims to support the small and marginal dairy farmers by helping them with enhancing the milk quality and quantity while providing them with the better market linkage with the overarching goal of helping them enhance their income.

A comprehensive range of animal husbandry services and training programs were conducted to support farmers in better caring for their livestock. This aims to enhance the health and quality of cattle, ultimately leading to improved milk quality and increased income for farmers.

Farm productivity and dairy practices: 30 training sessions 

We also encouraged farmers to incorporate Azolla into their feeding regime, as Azolla helps them improve cattle nutrition, enhance milk quality, and boost their income while contributing to environmental sustainability. Hence, under the initiative, we promoted Azolla as an alternative nutrient-rich feed source for the cattle.
