Here is the throwback to the ‘Dairy Farmers Training Programme’ we implemented in 2021. Operated in 30 villages in Kachhauna block and 50 villages in Bahender block, Hardoi, with support from the HCL Foundation. It aimed to address issues faced by dairy farmers, including a lack of awareness of good practices, animal nutrition, health, and quality services. The program successfully trained 5,781 farmers, surpassing its target of 4,000. To address all these issues, we identified awareness and capacity level gaps amongst the dairy producers, and based on the same, the training modules were developed on improved animal husbandry practices and clean milk production. Through training and capacity-building programs like these, we aspire to create a positive impact on the livelihoods of farmers and the dairy industry as a whole, fostering a more prosperous and sustainable future for the communities we serve.
